Book Description

The investigation of two brutal Marseilles murders by Senior Inspector Gerard de Rochenoir of the elite French National Police unearths a complex art fraud scheme involving a trove of valuable paintings stolen by the Nazis during World War II. Balancing his new American love, Wisconsin native Catherine York, in one hand and his old nemesis, the beautiful Russian assassin Sofia Mostov, in the other, Inspector de Rochenoir must act quickly before the art disappears, or worse, the Mexican drug cartel adds him to their increasing body count.

About the Author

A graduate of Carleton College and Harvard Law School, Perlman practiced law before entering the IT world into executive boardrooms of such well known multinational corporations as Control Data, Ceridian, the Valspar Corporation, Seagate, and the Carlson Companies.  In addition to teaching, lecturing, and serving on various boards, Perlman has authored a memoir about growing up in St. Paul, Minnesota, in the 1950s and 60s. The Russian Collector is his second Inspector Rochenoir mystery/thriller. Although he maintains many connections with Minnesota, he lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with his wife, Linda, and their English Springer Spaniel.
